Mega is a casualty of the symbiotes. Having been one of the gigans Thresher pummelled into submission when he was small and weak, he came across one of the symbiotes and accepted its offer to increase his power. The result is his current form, and his number one desire is to find Thresher and make him pay for what he had done to him. When he cannot find Thresher, he decides that in order to prove he is the better Gigan he would do what Thresher could not; capture Gaiganny and take her to the Nebulans.
