Name Trajan
Height 110 Meters
Weight 77,000 Metric Tons
1st appearance Godzilla vs. Trajan
 Powers:

Trajan possesses not only the traditional Gigan abdomen buzz saw, he also possesses twin buzz saws, one atop each shoulder. These can not only spin in place but can be projected from their holdings and directed by Trajan to attack foes from afar. Trajan can fire a crimson energy beam from both his eye visor and forehead, both of which can vary in intensity. Another energy blast can be fired from his mouth so intense its color is white rather than red, and is capable of either shattering a mountain or, in a more concentrated form, can burn straight through. Six crystals are nestled within Trajan's shoulder paddings. Each can fire a thin laser or be shot from their holdings, exploding on the first thing they hit. These can be regenerated by Trajan infinitely.

Between his two forefingers Trajan is able to form a lengthy blade composed of pure energy, there is no known substance it cannot penetrate. It can be retracted at will.

Trajan's wings allow him flight at Mach 3. The wings themselves are completely composed of a sheet of laser energy, and can be used in battle as well as flight. The sheets form between four spines Trajan can extend from beneath the sectioned areas of his back. Each are pinpoint sharp and nearly unbreakable.

Trajan's strength and raw physical power has yet to be matched by any other Gigan type, it is unknown what his limit is, presuming there is one at all. Trajan has proven to be incredibly intelligent, a Godsend to the Nebulans when he was in their possession, a nightmare now that he is not.

Curiously, Trajan's very blood seems to have the ability to not only heal his wounds at a VERY accelerated pace, it also seems to have the ability to revive the dead. This is a trait the Nebulans hoped to bring forth in their Planet Busters, but Trajan was the only Gigan type whose blood was powerful enough to bring the dead back to life. Though there were many attempts to achieve this level of effectiveness with the other experimental Planet Busters, the results were accelerated healing at best.

Origin:

From the first moment Trajan saw the metal ships orbiting the Gigan Homeworld he knew his life would never be the same. In the span of six months the Gigan Homeworld was ravaged by the foreign beings, almost one third of the population abducted for experimentation, more taken for the Nebulan process of 'enchancement.' After numerous attempts, the Nebulans finally succeeded in capturing Trajan, losing almost an entire fleet of warships in the process. In their eyes, the sacrifice was worth it, as Trajan immediately took to the enchancement, his rapid regenerative abilities allowing him to accept almost four times that of a regular Gigan type. Unfortunately for the Nebulans, Trajan had one flaw. He would not, under any circumstances, submit to their control. Never had the Nebulans experienced this, no Gigan type had ever resisted their control like Trajan did. In the end, they deemed their goal hopeless, but decided they could not let Trajan's destructive power go to waste. While they could barely contain the beast, they could not figure out a way to kill him, and thus it was decided he would become an advanced subjugator of planets. As expected, Trajan utterly demolished the first planet they dropped him off on. His rage at the Nebulan's hold on him was apparent, but they enjoyed watching him, his methods were cruel and merciless, he swept through the planet with a bloodthirsty rage they never expected. His first run an overwhelming success, the Nebulans prepared to retrieve Trajan when something strange happened. Trajan was not done with the planet. In a blinding ignition of his entire arsenal, Trajan alone caused the world to shudder from the inside, and as the Nebulans watched in disbelief, the very planet Trajan had been sent to, exploded.

That act of rage won him the title:

Planet Buster

Trajan saw the planets as just another outlet for his rage, and upon every world he was dropped upon, he saw only the Nebulans when he destroyed the civilization, waiting, just waiting for the day he would be able to turn his power on the Nebulans himself. In their possession however, Trajan became the Nebulans' trump card. If they encountered a planet they either wanted utterly destroyed or had no desire to keep fighting with, they would retreat, allow the planet to lull itself into a false sense of security, and then unlease Trajan upon them. He never failed. The last planet Trajan was sent to was desolate, he found only a small settling of life. It was quickly destroyed, and he wandered the landscape for some time before coming upon another smaller female Gigan type, Gaiganny. After a brief battle Trajan ultimately killed the smaller creature, and in that moment realized that he had killed the only other Gigan type he had seen in countless years. He revived her with his own blood, and immediately broke the final reigns of control the Nebulans tried to force upon him. Together with Gaiganny, he found his way back to the Gigan Homeworld where he now battles to keep not only himself alive, but Gaiganny as well...

 Notes from the Creator:

First and foremost, let me say that I've had very few creations that I've had this much fun with. Trajan, without a doubt, has become one of my all time favorite creations. Though I've managed to come up with a slew of my own kaiju, Trajan is one of the first I have really become attached to. I knew when I first started toying the idea of him coming into existence and his relationship with Gigan I'd stumbled onto something that I thought myself, as well as a lot of other G-Fans wanted to see, the vengeance of the Nebulans as well as another worthwhile challenger for Godzilla. I'm very grateful so many people seem to have warmed up to the story Godzilla vs. Trajan, and hope everyone will enjoy some of the other things I have planned for him in my other stories as well as the things Des and I have concocted in this Alternate Homeworld.

I think one of the most defining things about Trajan in Alt Homeworld is his dark and brooding manner. That's a big part of my own personality. Though I can be fun at times, a lot of the time I prefer to be by myself, and I usually don't speak unless I have something I feel is very important to say. That's the side of me I've intensified and given to Trajan in the stories. He's a no nonsense kind of guy. He doesn't waste time, he doesn't make small talk, and everything he says is said for a reason. Whether that reason is discovered immediately or later depends on the person spoken to.
