Name Theromin
Height 68 Meters
Weight 33,000 Metric Tons
1st appearance The Cave

 Powers:

A rarity amongst Gigan Types, Theromin possesses a double set of buzzsaws set on his right shoulder. Also an oddity, he is able of producing metal talons from the tips of his right hand, capable of slicing through stone as easily as it can through flesh. Theromin possesses an eye, forehead, and mouth beam that he can fire at will.

Origin

Theromin, simply put, is a foul mouthed punk. Theromin was born and raised on the Gigan home world, he has never known anything else, never had he been tampered with by the Nebulans. A Gigan type too thin and weak to accommodate his surly and abrasive manner, Theromin is very rarely happy unless he's arguing or fighting with something or someone. More often than not, he winds up losing the fights he instigates, a primary reason for his lack of territory or a mate. For Theromin however, there are two important things in life: fighting, and territory. While lacking in every other area of his personality, the aggressiveness with which he pursues both is commendable. Best friend to Gogar, Theromin makes it a point to be as irritating and aggravating as he possibly can, and yet, considers Gogar a true friend.

 Notes from the Creator

Theromin, along with Gogar were the first two prototype Gigans I attempted after creating Trajan. Originally I had named Theromin Tirgus, but later created another Gigan type much more deserving of the name. Theromin is actually named after an odd instrument used in the sound effects and soundtrack of a film named Forbidden Planet. Personally, I don't really care all that much for Theromin *or* Gogar for that matter. I created them (along with a few others) as test prototypes and really don't see them as being much more than that. As far as Alternate Homeworld goes, Theromin does serve his purpose and serves it well, but since he was one of the first throwaway Gigans I made, I don't think I'll ever warm up to the bugger. His participation in the stories was Des' idea, we were discussing Theromin and Gogar after I'd sent her the original pics of them and she said he and Gogar would probably be friends. I agreed, so here he is.
