First.
I've fixed the problem with the private forum, it's

I made the extra forums during work and left it at
that, with intent to up you to an admin when I went in
again. However, when I found out you were sick I was
a little more concerned about you getting better than
upping your ezboard status. I thought it could wait
until you could return and actually get into the admin
forum. But that's been remedied, you're an admin now.

Let's see, the situation with Konra. To be honest I
can't say I'm too happy with the way you handled it.
Yes, he was a pest, yes, the boy needed to work on his
social skills to the nth degree, however, he DID seem
to be trying to make some effort after I gave him a
simple warning. When he tried to abide by the rules
that I set forth to him-you, Chris, and Andross
attacked him and ran him off. I suppose I can see why
everyone is happy about his departure, but my thoughts
were that the boy was obviously going to listen to me
and at least make some kind of effort to behave
himself. Instead he was run off before that could
happen. Des, you know how I operate, I like to give
people just enough rope to hang themselves and then
I'll pull the floor out from under them. That's what
I was attempting to do with Konra. He already had one
official warning from me and if he screwed things up
again he would have been ousted of his own doing and
wouldn't have any reason for being banned other than
his own screwups. I also didn't think reworking his
posts after he erased their content was very
appropriate. Granted, doing something like that
doesn't make you power mad, but do you really think it
was necessary? The kid's gone, mission accomplished.
If someone else from KB shows up on KW I'd like to
give them the same chance to hang themselves but I
would prefer not to instigate anything to do it.
People like them always do themselves in, there's no
reason to waste any energy going after them.

Yes, I have said KW is my board, and I say that
because it was my idea that KB would work better on an
ez board in the first place, myself who designed
everything, and myself who set forth the proposal to
Saiko from the start. When he opted to keep his
piddly little board then yes, we did talk about how
cool it would be to have our own board, but all I did
was keep my design and name it Kaiju Wars. I hate to
say this because reading it back it makes me sound
like a self centered bastard, but Des it's true.

As for setting out to be better than KB, that was
accomplished the second KW went up. I mean that, the
place is leaps and bounds better than KB ever was, and
it'll only get better.

I think the reason you keep getting the notion of Good
cop Bad cop is because I refuse to go after anyone.
Does it make me the 'good cop' because I'd rather give
someone enough rope to hang himself and then push the
lever? Maybe on the outside I suppose it does, but
I've always been that way, it's very rare that I
snapped. In just about every arguement I got into on
KB I don't think I ever lost my temper because there
wasn't any need to. Look who we were argueing with.
We have different ways of accomplishing things. I'm
not going to waste any efforts if I feel I don't have
to. I.E, the Konra thing. I saw what was going on, I
warned him, and if he did anything else then he would
have been banned. From what I saw in the way the two
of us dealt with it, it looks like you prefer to seek
and destroy, I like to sit back and wait. Both
methods are effective, but I prefer the latter. That
isn't going to change especially when two warnings
warrant the click of the ban button to solve whatever
problem pops up.

If you want to tell others you're an admin, then by
all means do so. Didn't you already mention that you
could move, lock and delete threads anyway? If need
be I'LL tell everyone you're an admin now. I'd rather
do that than see you unhappy like this. And when did
I ever express concern about you changing the layout
of the site? You know I'm not that petty. What DOES
concern me is a repeat of past projects we've worked
on in which I somehow become the conveniently
forgotten other party. It'll happen again, but at
this point I don't think there's any use in fighting
it, I've grown used to it. I'm sure if most people on
KW mention the place they refer to it as your board,
so there's no reason for you NOT to be an admin.

Honestly I wish I was able to write you more than I
do. Unfortunately, my days now run from 7am to 10pm
straight. even the time I spend in the labs isn';t
really my own since I'm usually working on lesson
plans and whatnot for student teaching. Starting
Thursday it gets worse because my day will start at
5:30 instead of 7. Needless to say I usually don't
have as much time as I'd like to write anyone. Trust
me, I'd much rather write you than develop a stupid
lesson plan on etching.

Strange about the phone.. even stranger is that I
didn't know you called, nor did any of my roommates
give me a message. I'll have to yell at them for
that, I always let them know when someone calls before
erasing messages.
