Hi Des,

I received the birthday present today and wanted to
drop you a quick note to say thanks, I really do
appreciate it in light of everything that’s been going
on.

I thought I’d give you a heads up: I’m shutting down
KW. As many times as I’ve looked at the place I
really don’t think there’s any point in me putting off
the inevitable, so down it’s going. I’m going to
archive everything and then delete the posts, lock the
forums, and kill the thing off. I hope this doesn’t
come as too much of a shock, since I believe I’ve told
you a few times that I had planned to shut the place
down, which is why I was pissed when you told me you’d
deposited $40 into the chest without asking me first.
If I had known you were going to do that I would have
told you not to since I was going to erase the board.
It’s money that will never be used, and I’d like for
you to somehow figure out how to move it from there to
hopefully your Sponge Bob Board since it’s doing so
well. I think if you write a letter to ez board or
something they might be able to transfer the funds.
So, if there’s anything you want to back up or save,
do it within the next week or so, because I’m not
going to wait too long before pulling the plug.
I think this is the best thing to do because I’m sick
as Hell of the fighting over the place. Our last
phone conversation didn’t do anything to make things
better.

The more I thought about what a mess this made between
us, the more I want it gone. Maybe with it done and
overwith things can get back to normal.

As for Alt HW, like I said on the phone you can add to
it if you like, I’ve lost interest and can’t say I
find any more enjoyment out of it. I guess I may add
a few pics (now that I think about it there’s a lot of
pictures I’ve never shown you…) every now and then,
and maybe a story or two if I have the time/drive to
do so, but Lord knows when that’ll be.

There’s no other way for me to sound in this email
aside from a jerk, and I really do apologize for that,
but I guess someone has to if it means getting things
back to normal. So, when/if you’re willing to
continue writing me, drop me a line.
